Provincial Nominee program:
The applicants who apply for this program are going for permanent residency in one of the provinces of canada. And the applicants usually apply for the PNP program through express entry. If a province or territory nominates an applicant through an Express Entry stream, it will be listed on the applicant nomination certificate. applicants can confirm this with the province or territory.
There are two ways to apply as the applicant can contact the province or territory and apply for a nomination under their Express Entry stream. If the province or territory agrees to nominate applicant , applicant creates an Express Entry profile (or update applicant profile if applicant already has one) and shows applicant has been nominated. Applicants get a nomination through an account, which applicants accept electronically.
In the second way an applicant can create an Express Entry profile and show the provinces and territories the applicant is interested in.If a province or territory sends an applicant a “notification of interest” to the applicant account, the applicant contacts them directly. And they apply to their Express Entry stream. If applicants are nominated, they will offer it to applicant through applicant account, and applicant accept it electronically.
In both cases, the applicant will need to create an Express Entry profile during the process, so applicants should do it right from the start.
